 I
remember years ago when I was in retail working for a waterbed store in
Atlanta. I
felt it was probably a doomed business from the start, even though
waterbeds were big business at the time. Money was no object, but this
business owner felt he could park his store up the street from another
waterbed retailer and make a living from the rejects of his
competition. He never spent one dollar on advertising. Of course the
day came that it was time to close due to lack of business. So at this
point he
ran a "Going Out Of Business Sale" advertising campaign in newspapers
and radio.
The following day we were swamped with customers!
A few weeks later, when I was working for the competition, I suggested
to the owner that we run a "Going Out For Business Sale". Of course we
did what retailers do and marked all the inventory up before we put a
sale price on it but amazingly, the same thing happened. Customers
didn't even notice the difference, you probably didn't either, and we
sold waterbeds until the cows came home! My point is this. Don't get
lost in all the ins and outs of being in business, and forget to
advertise. Advertise first, and the rest will take care of itself!
We have various ways to advertise here at our traffic exchange and I

Another one of our advertising mediums
is the free banner exchange. These are your standard 468 x 60 banners
like the one above. Once again you see that it promotes your
opportunity and also includes your personal referral link back to the
traffic exchange for your 50 level referral downline. (The text above
the banner only appears on this page). You have to
remember that you are able to email all your direct referrals to the
traffic exchange and even to the Combine. So it's a great way to build
your optin email list for all your programs. Also, when your traffic
exchange downline referrals surf, they create extra advertising credits
for you! So this is another code you should copy and paste anywhere you
can. You are allowed to have 5 banners in rotation that show constantly
and they don't even cost anything or even use any of your credits
unless they are clicked on. If they are clicked, it only uses 2 credits
and only for "unique" clicks within the same day.

One of the things we wanted
to do when
starting our traffic exchange was to create an environment that the
free member could substantially benefit. The more free members, the
more
impressions for everyone's eyes. So instead of constantly promoting
membership upgrades as a way for extra revenue, we decided to derive
the major part of our profits from paid advertising. This concept has
done very well for us. We make our profit and our Free Members receive
more free advertising credits than just about any other traffic
exchange out there. This is actually the basis of our concept.
Don't get us wrong, we welcome your
membership
upgrade and make it as attractive to you as we can, but it isn't
necessary to truly benefit from our program unless you don't have time
to surf for credits and simply want credits automatically added to your
account. With all the bonus credits and free banner and text exchanges,
our free Members are very happy. But when they want to take their
business to the next level, we have that too!
Throughout our exchange you will see various sizes of unintrusive
advertising. These spots are purchased by our members and anyone else
that would like to advertise. Some of them refresh every minute or so
since it's a known fact that if someone isn't going to click on an ad
within a minute or so, they probably aren't interested in that
particular product. So the space will move on to the next scheduled ad.
Have a look for yourself and see some of the advertisers that are
currently advertising with us. If you are not a member of our exchange,
we invite you to join as a free member and check everything out. These
spots are sold for a requested number of guaranteed impressions. An
advertiser that wishes to purchase the spots is notified when their ad
begins, when it ends and also receives weekly updates as to how many
times the ad has shown, where it has shown and how many times it has
been clicked on. We think you'll find this form of
advertising very inexpensive.
There are no set contracts or packages
you have to take so you may select what size, site and number of
impressions you like for each ad. Each package is created specifically
to the advertiser's wishes, approved and must be paid for before the
ads begin to show. There is no package to large but currently the
minimum starting package is 10,000 impressions. For example you could
run 30,000 728 x 90 impressions and the total cost would be only
$12.00. There are no set-up charges as long as your ads are ready to
upload. We also provide a banner creation service on a case by case

It" - This is truly
something you can set up one time and let it work for you! This is a
very simple program in which you
place our ad codes on your sites for our ads to appear and then we
share a percentage of the revenue
generated with you. At present we are sharing 50% of the
revenue generated from the ads you show on your sites. Also, you may
run 1 free banner of any size we deliver throughout our entire network.
The system is
already defaulted not to show sites like adult, firearms, tobacco and
such but we'll go over with you what other restrictions you would like
to put in place. You would of course receive weekly updates as to how
your placement is doing.
